Mental High Performance Consultant
Steven was raised in Reading, Michigan, a small town near the Ohio and Indiana border. He competed in football and track & field throughout middle school and high school, then attended Trine University in Indiana where he studied psychology and continued my participation in track & field in shot put, hammer throw, and javelin. Upon graduation, Steven worked in mental health settings for two years before accepting a position as an achievement and behavior specialist at a school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While there, he coached boys’ and girls’ soccer and served as the school’s athletic director for two years.
Stevens interest in sport psychology was cultivated by his own experiences in athletics and his time working with athletes as a coach and administrator. He hopes to enhance the lives of others through use of performance enhancement consultations, and is now pursuing a master’s degree in sport and performance psychology at the University of Denver.
Steven enjoys working with athletes of all ages, sports, and skill levels, and hopes to utilize sport and performance psychology to improve athletes’ interactions with their parents and coaches.
In Steven's spare time, he enjoy cycling, hiking, playing board games, watching Michigan sports teams, and spending time with his wife, Caitlyn.
