Lauren was Born and raised in Owatonna, Minnesota (about an hour south of the Twin Cities), Lauren played hockey year-round from age 8 through high school and also ran cross country. 


In 2017, she graduated from Crown College with a bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Alcohol and Drug Counseling.  Lauren spent her senior year working at Mayo Clinic in the inpatient substance abuse treatment center as a treatment technician and counselor.  Her current hobbies include CrossFit, wake boarding, hiking, and cheering for her Minnesota sports teams!


Lauren's interest in sport psychology began when she was a freshman in high school after fracturing her C-7 and was forced to take an entire year off of hockey, changing her life as she knew it.  She is now pursuing a master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver and enjoys working with athletes and performers at all levels in all domains to help them perform at their best, while enjoying the process.
